The answer lies in the fuchsia color: the Nike Dunk Low Fuchsia is the perfect match of pure white and active fuchsia (as the name says).

This color combo is winning everything right now. A little fun fact: Pantone, which has been picking a color of the year for more than 20 years, chose a shade of pink – Viva Magenta – as this year's color of the year. Bottom line: 2023 is definitely going to be all about this color palette.

The Nike Dunk Low Fuchsia fits this trend in a seriously cool way. On the sneaker, the Nike logo, the laces and the lining all went pink, and it matches the white leather upper so perfectly that words can't really do it justice – the shoe speaks for itself! 😻

Nike has always loved reimagining its Dunk Low sneakers – and still does. But opinions are split on whether that's what's happening here. 🧐

Plenty of people argue that, despite the fuchsia color, by creating this shoe from just two colors (a perfect match, let's add), the brand actually went back to basics. And it's true that this isn't the first time we've seen a two-tone colorway on a Dunk – the design feels much more like an old friend.

Others, though, see it not as a return but as a kind of renaissance-style rebirth. In recent years we've seen plenty of colorways made from more than two colors, along with all sorts of different textile constructions. By putting the old design back in focus (with new colors, of course), we're taking a step forward again.

Sure, you can argue about it, but as long as we keep getting fire shoes like this, it honestly doesn't matter where the idea comes from… 😜

What's not up for debate is that it's been a long time since Nike dropped such a sexy, girly pair.
